I’ve been collecting mechanical watches whenever I hit a personal milestone. At some point I realized I had over 30 watches sitting in different boxes, drawers, and smaller winders that never really matched together.
After receiving my 2025 year-end bonus, I decided it was finally time to give the collection a proper home.

And the door itself is seriously thick. I measured parts of it at around 4–8mm steel thickness. I’m obviously not planning to test bullets on it, but standing in front of it, you genuinely feel like nothing is getting through that thing easily.
It’s not fireproof, and I think that’s important to mention honestly. But the safe is so heavy that two grown men can barely move it once it’s in place. After delivery, I completely gave up on the idea of mounting it to the wall or floor. There’s just no point. Moving it alone already feels like a project.
Now when I walk into my apartment at night and see all my watches displayed together under the soft lighting, it honestly feels like I finally completed something I’ve been building for the last decade.

The first time I opened it, I was impressed right away. The door is incredibly heavy, and when it closes, it makes that solid “thunk” sound that real safes have. When the blue lights came on and all the watches started slowly rotating, the whole thing just looked serious. It has a strong presence in the room without feeling flashy.

What I like most is how stable and quiet it is. At night, I can barely hear it running, but every watch keeps perfect motion. Before this, I was always worried about watches stopping or sitting too long unused. Now I don’t really think about it anymore.

Of course, it’s not perfect. The biggest downside is the weight. I actually tried moving it upstairs to my master bedroom and gave up halfway through. This thing is HEAVY. It’s also pretty large, so if you only own a few watches, it’s probably more than you need.

But if you’re serious about collecting watches long term, the solid and secure feel of this safe is exactly what makes it worth it to me.
